Adam T. Berry

Adam Berry is a Senior Managing Director within the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment at FTI Consulting. He is based in New York, where he leads the Data & Analytics practice locally.

Mr. Berry has provided risk mitigation services, business intelligence and complex data analysis to numerous clients involved in antitrust matters, disputes, litigation, investigations, regulatory infractions and other critical challenges. He assists clients in identifying, gathering, understanding and analyzing key information and data pivotal to investigations. He has managed internal investigations and aided in both criminal and civil matters, providing clients with end-to-end support to mitigate risks, review trends and analyze patterns. He has also performed risk and compliance review of programs and technology systems as part of remediation plans.

Mr. Berry advised clients across numerous industry sectors facing complex litigation as a Structured Data Discovery expert. Working with counsel he has liaised directly with client IT operations as well as third-party IT vendors to identify and acquire relevant data. His experience includes working with and leading the acquisition of data from various enterprise resource planning and reporting systems as well as data from multiple platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, mainframe databases and other proprietary databases and software.

Mr. Berry is experienced in the areas of claims resolution, complex reporting and analysis, damages modeling, database modeling, financial reporting and analysis, information technology consulting, interim financial systems development and system performance improvement. His experience includes collection of financial reporting systems, integration of multiple systems into complex financial processes, preservation of voluminous data sources through database design and construction, system reconciliation, process re-engineering and workflow performance improvement. His experience in business intelligence has involved the data mining and analysis of various back-end systems such as those mentioned above as well as utilization of reporting structures and data visualization tools and concepts.

Mr. Berry holds a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Finance from Indiana University. He is an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association and is Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control.
