About Adam
Adam Tillery specializes in financial due diligence, forecasting, financial modeling, valuation services and interim management support across various industries. Mr. Tillery has over 15 years of experience.
Mr. Tillery’s healthcare experience spans a multitude of sub-industries, including diagnostic imaging, dental practices, urgent care, pharmaceuticals, behavioral health, medical staffing, acute care hospitals, post-acute care and numerous physician practice sub-specialties. He has specific sub-specialty expertise with diagnostic imaging, leading dozens of acquisitions of radiology practices, imaging centers and medical device manufacturers. He also has led numerous engagements in the dental industry, including dental practice management firms, dental and orthodontia clinics and dental supplies.
Mr. Tillery’s healthcare experience encompasses a wide range of special situations, including evaluating the revenue model and accounts receivable write-off for multi-state free-standing ER entity and serving as the Interim Revenue Accounting Manager for a distressed healthcare entity. While in this interim role, Mr. Tillery’s responsibilities included creating a new revenue recognition model, reconciliation with treasury, providing audit support and internal controls documentation.
Mr. Tillery’s technology experience has included public-to-private transactions and extensive expertise with software revenue recognition and multiple element arrangements. He has led projects for investment in healthcare IT platforms, including EMR software, imaging software, health data management and utilization management software.
Mr. Tillery has supported private equity and lending deals for H.I.G. Capital, Radiology Partners, New Harbor Capital, Windrose Health Investors, Silver Point Capital, Excellere Partners, Altaris Capital, Thoma Bravo, Galen Partners, NXT Capital and Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group, among many others.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Tillery worked for four years in audit at EY. His experience includes the testing of internal control environment and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance. At EY, Mr. Tillery’s primary client focus included technology, healthcare and manufacturing.
Prior to joining EY, Mr. Tillery spent two years working for Georgia Power in the Financial Planning and Analysis group. While there, he assisted in the software development and operational implementation of a new financial reporting model used for project analysis and month-end close consolidation.
