About Bryce
Bryce Snape focuses on providing advanced data analytics services, primarily to the financial services industry. He has managed numerous projects related to data governance, data privacy, data analytics and financial modeling including SCRA, Dodd-Frank, CCAR, CCPA, and other non-financial regulatory reporting. He has presented directly to regulatory agencies (e.g., CFPB, DOJ, OCC) about data methodologies and financial modeling.
Mr. Snape has extensive experience working across various financial industry lines of business including consumer and commercial credit, auto loans, mortgages and consumer deposits. He uses regulatory and domain expertise combined with technical depth to solve complex business problems across organizations. This includes overseeing the data and technical implementation of automating thousands of regulatory reports across global financial institutions. The work required understanding numerous disparate datasets, determining remediation activities as well as defining the data model, target state architecture and data governance standards.
Mr. Snape has leveraged his technical acumen to validate, advise and implement data privacy solutions across multiple industries. This includes data discovery, data architecture, data encryption, tokenization and anonymizing key data elements. He has worked directly with multiple regulatory agencies and leading law firms to perform “lookback” engagements assessing historical compliance with various regulations. Mr. Snape was responsible for reviewing underlying code, building advanced financial models to calculate historical damages as well as determining how to resolve data quality issues to ensure a consistent approach across various data sources (e.g., 3rd party, legacy systems).
Mr. Snape was heavily involved in numerous mortgage-related engagements which included identifying consumer mortgage loans eligible for potential regulatory settlements and developing reporting tools that tracked performance across the mortgage life cycle.
Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Snape worked for Deloitte in the Cyber Analytics commercial practice. Mr. Snape was responsible for standing up the internal cloud offering to offer managed services across AWS, Google Cloud and Azure. Mr. Snape graduated from The College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Economics, cum laude. He currently serves on the board at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary, Master’s in Business Analytics.
