Chase D’Agostino is a contract solutions expert with more than 15 years of experience serving global corporations and financial institutions. Mr. D’Agostino designs and delivers solutions that turn contracts into data and insights to deliver specific outcomes and objectives for his clients.

Mr. D’Agostino specializes in large-scale and complex contract reviews. Examples of the use cases he supports include reviewing and updating contracts in the face of a change in regulation, a market destabilizing event or a corporate transaction such as pre-transaction contract due diligence for M&A, post-transaction integrations and internal reorganizations. Other examples include helping clients assess compliance with risk standards across portfolios of contracts, create contract repositories that enable business decision making and implement processes that support the realization of value from contracts.

Mr. D’Agostino also has deep experience managing end-to-end pre-signature contracting processes, implementing contract technology and artificial intelligence tools and delivering full contracting function transformations. With his guidance, clients can reimagine the ways contracts are prepared, interpreted and managed, transforming contracts into rich and insightful data points that can inform business strategy, mitigate risk and improve compliance.

Mr. D’Agostino began his career as an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, where he focused on M&A and financing transactions for leading private equity funds and Fortune 500 companies. He also served as commercial counsel at Colgate-Palmolive, where he negotiated commercial contracts for a multibillion-dollar supply chain, implemented a best-in-class contract management solution and helped manage compliance processes. Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. D’Agostino held executive positions in contract solutions roles at numerous legal service providers. He has received numerous industry awards, including the World Commerce and Contracting Association Innovation & Excellence Award, Association of Corporate Counsel Value Champion Awards, Financial Times Intelligent Business Award and Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards.

Relevant Experience:

• Led the process of completing notice, consent, termination and amendments across pre-transaction due diligence, post-transaction integrations and internal reorganizations for numerous billion-dollar transactions
• Architected an award-winning contract data solution, which combined technology, data science and expert review to transform contract language into insights-enabled data for the purposes of risk management, compliance and business strategy
• Designed a quantitative, step-by-step approach to improve the legal technology selection process and created a supporting matrix for the evaluation of contract lifecycle management tools
• Completed one of the most comprehensive analyses of artificial intelligence for contracts, including creating an approach for testing accuracy in these systems
