About Claudio
Claudio Costamagna joined the Board of Directors of FTI Consulting, Inc. in June 2012 and serves as the Chair of the Compensation Committee.
Mr. Costamagna serves as the Chairman of CC e Soci S.r.l., a financial advisory firm he founded in June 2007, and CC Holdings S.r.l., its parent company, engaged in private equity activities.
Mr. Costamagna serves on the Board of Directors of Ferragamo Finanziaria S.p.A., a private company managing the Ferragamo family’s stake in Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A., an Italian luxury goods group, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. Mr. Costamagna also serves on the Board of Directors of Finarvedi S.p.A., the parent company of Arvedi Group, a leader in the European steelmaking industry. Additionally, Mr. Costamagna serves on the Board of Directors of Salini Costruttori S.p.A. and Italiana Petroli S.p.A.
Until April 2006, Mr. Costamagna served 18 years in various positions within the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., culminating as the Chairman of the Investment Banking division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa from December 2004 to March 2006.
Mr. Costamagna is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the following companies: Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A., the largest state-controlled company in Italy; Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA), a French biotech company listed on Nasdaq and Salini-Impregilo S.p.A. He also served as Director of Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A., Luxottica Group S.p.A., Bulgari S.p.A., Autogrill S.p.A. and Virgin Holding B.V.I., of which he was Chairman of their Advisory Board.
Mr. Costamagna holds a Business Economics degree from Università Bocconi and is a member of the International Advisory Council of the University. Previously, he served as President of Università Bocconi's Alumni Association.
