Colin Wilson

Colin Wilson is a Senior Managing Director in the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and is based in Dubai. A member of the EMEA Construction, Projects & Assets practice, Mr. Wilson specializes in the provision of quantum analysis as well as contract and claims management services on construction and infrastructure projects.

Mr. Wilson is a quantum expert and has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, where he has worked for multinational contracting organizations and international consultancy businesses. He has been based in the United Arab Emirates since 2007 and has worked on projects throughout the UK and internationally in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Wilson has prepared, presented and rebutted claims on behalf of contractors and employers. He has also been appointed by employers and government entities to carry out independent reviews and assessments of claims.

Mr. Wilson has been appointed as a quantum expert in arbitration and conciliation on matters in the Middle East and has represented contractors in mediation. He has also been appointed to provide independent expert determinations as well as impartial reports and assessment on quantum matters in the lead up to arbitration.

Mr. Wilson has represented clients on some of the largest and most well-known projects in the region and has experience of high-profile building and infrastructure projects including rail, oil and gas installations, airports, educational facilities, high-rise buildings, hospitals, hotels, offices, residential developments, retail, roads and bridges, sewage treatment plants and tunnels.

Mr. Wilson holds qualifications in building, commercial management and quantity surveying as well as construction law and dispute resolution.
