Dr. Meloria Meschi

Dr. Meloria Meschi is a Senior Managing Director in FTI’s Economic and Financial Consulting practice, and is based in the London office. Prior to this, Meloria was an Affiliate with LECG LLP and an Associate Professor of Economics at John Cabot University in Rome.

A double PhD in Economic Policy and Economics (Applied Econometrics), Meloria has over 15 years’ experience in applying economic and statistical analysis to complex litigation, regulatory, policy and competition issues in a wide variety of industries. She has been appointed as an expert witness in matters of economics and statistics before the High Court of Justice, the Norwegian National Court, the Indian Arbitral Tribunal, the Stockholm SCC Arbitral Tribunal, the High Court of South Africa, and the Italian Courts, and has given oral testimony several times.

Meloria has published numerous articles in international journals, with her joint paper on the impact of mobile telecommunications on economic development gaining the front page of The Economist. An expert in efficiency, she teaches courses on cost estimation, efficiency benchmarking and other regulatory issues at the Masters in Antitrust and Regulation, University of Rome.
