In December 2013, Gerard E. Holthaus assumed the role of Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of FTI Consulting. He has been a Director at the Company since June 2004 and served as Presiding Director from 2006 to 2013. Mr. Holthaus serves as a member of the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee.
Since 2020, Mr. Holthaus has served as the Lead Independent Director of WillScot Mobile Mini Corp., a leading provider of modular space solutions in North America, and serves as a member of its Audit Committee and as Chair of its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Previously, he served as independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of WillScot Corp. from November 2017 until Mobile Mini’s merger into WillScot Corp. in July 2020.
Prior to November 2017, Mr. Holthaus served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Algeco Scotsman Global S.á.r.l., a leading global provider of modular space solutions, and its holding company, Algeco/Scotsman Holdings S.á.r.l., positions that he held since April 2010. From October 2007 to April 2010, Mr. Holthaus held the positions of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Algeco Scotsman Global S.a.r.l.
Mr. Holthaus is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Life Companies, a mutual life insurance company, and serves on its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Holthaus is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Loyola University Baltimore and the Board of Directors of the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center.
Mr. Holthaus is a former director of the following companies: BakerCorp International, Inc., Neff Corporation and Nesco Holdings, Inc.
Mr. Holthaus graduated from Loyola University Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant.
