How We Help Our Clients
Clients come to us for help because they operate in an increasingly complex data environment. New systems are being brought online, new vendor relationships – where different vendors handle information on your organisation's behalf – are forming, and the compliance environment keeps evolving. We’ve experienced increasing regulatory powers and have new laws implemented in Australia and globally.
We are seeing a lot of demand right now for privacy compliance – clients want us to help them understand what the privacy laws are and help put in place controls to make sure that they comply with them – and information governance, particularly with respect to data remediation. In other words, help us understand what data we hold, where it is, what classification it should be given, and how long we should retain it and then help us defensibly destroy or de-identify what we no longer require. This helps reduce the amount of data held, reducing cost and risk. After all, you can't lose what you don't have.
