About Laureen
Laureen E. Seeger joined the Board of Directors of FTI Consulting, Inc. in March 2016 and serves as a member of the Compensation Committee and the Nominating, Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility Committee.
Ms. Seeger is the Chief Legal Officer of American Express Company, a diversified financial services company. Ms. Seeger joined American Express Company in 2014 and served as its Executive Vice President and General Counsel until 2018.
From 2006 to 2014, Ms. Seeger served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at McKesson Corporation, the largest healthcare services company in North America, where she led the Law, Public Affairs, Compliance and Corporate Secretary functions while guiding the Company through complex legal and regulatory environments and contributing to its financial growth. Ms. Seeger joined McKesson in 2000 as General Counsel of the corporation's Technology division. In this role, she provided leadership through complex merger and acquisition transactions and product evolutions, while building the law department and enhancing client service. Prior to joining McKesson Corporation, Ms. Seeger served as a Commercial Litigation Partner and chaired the Technology Litigation group at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP. Ms. Seeger began her career in 1986 as a Commercial Litigation Associate at Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue.
Ms. Seeger serves on the Board of Trustees of the Central Park Conservancy, a private, nonprofit park conservancy that manages Central Park under a contract with the City of New York and NYC Parks. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association.
Ms. Seeger previously served on the Board of Directors of Umpqua Holdings Corporation. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of the California Chamber of Commerce and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bay Area chapter of the American Heart Association.
Ms. Seeger received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
