About Rudy
Rudy Dimmling is a Senior Managing Director and leads the Business Transformation & Performance Improvement group within FTI Consulting’s Global Insurance Services practice. Rudy specializes in implementing near- and long-term strategies and transformation change initiatives related to performance improvement. With over 30 years of senior leadership experience across various insurance sectors - P&C, reinsurance, healthcare, credit, life, runoff and brokerage - he assists clients in addressing complex operational and financial performance challenges.
Most recently, Rudy served as Chief Strategy Officer for Cardinal Innovations Healthcare, responsible for developing and implementing the organization's transformation to a fully integrated healthcare insurer. Rudy designed and led the Transformation Office comprised of project and program managers, Lean Six Sigma process improvement experts and change management practitioners.
Prior to joining Cardinal, Rudy was a Senior Director in the insurance practice of a global consulting firm where he assisted clients in improving financial and operational performance. In this role, Rudy also served in various interim C-suite positions including COO, CFO and Director of Compliance.
Before consulting, Rudy was Chief Administrative Officer for a reinsurance subsidiary of a Fortune 100 global insurance company where he was responsible for the claims and actuarial functions.
Rudy has provided leadership to clients in identifying acquisition targets, merger integration, carve outs, implementing operating metrics, turnarounds & restructurings, discontinuing lines of business, and developing & implementing performance metrics.
