Timothy J. Dragelin

Timothy J. Dragelin specializes in providing financial advisory services to all stakeholders including borrowers, creditors and equity interests. Mr. Dragelin has more than 20 years of experience. He has industry expertise in real estate, structured finance, construction, government contracting and healthcare.

Mr. Dragelin’s experience ranges from advising not-for-profit entities to privately held companies to multinational publicly traded corporations. The matters in which he has been involved have included bankruptcy planning and management, turnaround consultation, interim management, lender advisory, buy-side due diligence, sell-side mandates, valuation, process improvement, forensic investigations and litigation advisory.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Dragelin was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers in various capacities in the Financial Advisory Services practice. He also served as the Controller and Chief Financial Officer for a division of a Fortune 500 financial services company. In addition, Mr. Dragelin served as Director of Sales for affinity cards and consumer financial services for the same company. He has been proffered and appeared as an expert witness relative to accounting, financial and valuation topics in several venues.

Mr. Dragelin is a published author with the Wiley Law and Aspen Law presses and is a frequent speaker on financial and accounting topics, including speaking at the National Association of Homebuilders’ International Builders Show, IMN Conferences and Federal Publications, Inc. seminars, and has appeared as a guest lecturer at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
