Alex Le May

Alex Le May is a Senior Managing Director and the UK Head of M&A and Activism within the Strategic Communications segment and sits across the Special Situations and Industrials teams.

Since joining FTI Consulting in 2013, Alex has supported clients on more than 150 transactions, acting on both buy- and sell-side mandates. His recent M&A project experience includes advising Wood Group on its possible takeover by Apollo, DSM on its €41 billion merger with Firmenich, Meggitt on its contested takeover by Parker Hannifin and Smiths Group on the carve-out and ultimate sale of its medical division. Alex has also advised clients on confidential activism defences and supports clients with defence preparedness.

Alex also supports a number of clients within the industrial sector both in the UK and overseas on their communications and is retained by Smiths Group, dsm-firmenich, Accsys Technologies, Marel, Wood Group and Marlowe.
