Bill Post

Bill Post is a Senior Managing Director with the Supply Chain Global Solutions practice and is based in San Francisco. He has 30 years of experience as a senior management executive of operating businesses including roles as CEO, CIO, general counsel and chief compliance officer.  

Mr. Post has global supply chain expertise, including supply chain strategy, risk identification, strategic sourcing and procurement, operational and regulatory compliance, and analytics associated with risk identification and mitigation. Over his career, he has worked with clients globally to drive transformational strategic planning and risk mitigation to all tiers of the supply chain.

Previously Mr. Post was a private practice attorney specializing in corporate, governance, and securities law.  His corporate practice included clients who operated companies engaged in manufacturing, electronics, construction, recreational boating, maritime industry and financial services.  As a C-suite executive and general counsel he has supply chain expertise across diverse businesses with complex manufacturing challenges. He is also a former Supply Corps Officer in the US Navy specializing in logistics and supply management.

Mr. Post is a member of Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Association for Supply Chain Management, the CFA Institute, the State Bar of California, an inactive member of the District of Columbia Bar. He is a project leader/lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas Business School. He formerly held FINRA license Series 7, 3, 63 & 66.  As a Naval Officer, Mr. Post’s duties included tours shipboard and as the controller of all airwings at Naval Air Station Alameda and Moffett Federal Airfield in California.
