About Brent
Brent McGoldrick is a Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment of FTI Consulting and is based in Washington, DC. He leads the digital, analytics and insights offerings in the Americas.
Mr. McGoldrick has more than 20 years of experience in building and applying analytics and measurement programs for companies, campaigns and causes to inform their communications and their resource allocation.
Mr. McGoldrick has worked with a range of companies in the consumer products, energy, financial services, health care, and industrials sectors to help them measure corporate reputation, win public support for projects and efforts, and use research to navigate corporate crises and special situations.
Mr. McGoldrick has led a media analytics firm as its CEO and has served in senior management and advisory roles on three U.S. presidential campaigns, building analytics and measurement programs to help identify and target voters for paid media campaigns.
Mr. McGoldrick is often quoted by major media outlets and speaks frequently on topics related to media, elections, and voter targeting. In 2016, Ron Brownstein of The Atlantic wrote of his presidential election predictions about “rust belt” states, “the prescience prize may go to Brent McGoldrick”.
Mr. McGoldrick holds a B.A. in public policy from Duke University and an M.B.A. in marketing from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He holds a CIPP/US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
