About Craig
Craig Earnshaw provides strategic advice to clients across all areas of FTI Consulting’s Technology segment, offering specific counsel to clients on matters involving European Union-based evidence collection and disclosure, regulatory inquiries, computer-based forensics and electronic data hosting for litigation.
With nearly 25 years focused solely on electronic evidence and complex data matters, Craig’s engagement experience includes multi-jurisdictional investigations and regulatory inquiries relating to anti-competitive behaviour, cartels, price-fixing and merger clearance. Additionally, he has expertise in fields relating to bribery and corruption investigations, fraud and intellectual property theft.
Craig has provided both written and oral expert evidence in the High Court in London, has testified at depositions in the United States and has submitted written expert evidence into other forums, such as employment tribunals and arbitrations.
Of the most complex and demanding matters that have taken place over the last 20 years, Craig has provided forensic technology counsel to a wide range of clients across a variety of industries, including the recent London Interbank Offered Rate (“LIBOR”) and Foreign Exchange regulatory investigations.
These matters have required Craig to undertake detailed work in industries including financial services, manufacturing, banking and petrochemicals, as well as jurisdictions throughout Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.
Craig has authored numerous articles that have been published in the European and U.S. legal and technical press and is a frequent conference speaker on subjects including multi-jurisdictional investigations and data privacy.
Craig has been recognised by Who's Who Legal as a "Global Elite Thought Leader" in their Data Experts report each year since 2018 and in their Digital Forensics Experts report each year since 2016.
