Dr. Lutz Golsch

Dr. Lutz Golsch is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Lutz is Chairman of the Strategic Communications Practice in Germany and is based in Frankfurt. He is also a member of FTI Consulting’s Executive Leadership Team for the EMEA region. Lutz joined FTI Consulting in 2001 and has been advising clients on strategic communications for more than 20 years. Based in Frankfurt, he has been working on major cross-border and domestic assignments across a broad range of industries.

In today’s fast-moving and volatile environment, he works with corporations, their C-Suite executives and internal senior teams on strategic communications matters which shape and impact their reputation. He puts a particular emphasis on comprehensive engagement strategies for external and internal stakeholder audiences. After launching his career in financial communications, Lutz has built an extensive track record advising on mission-critical events such as crisis situations, M&A transactions, IPOs and other special situations.

Over the past decade, he has managed communications in M&A transactions with a combined value of more than €75 billion. In recent years, he has also been highly engaged in driving debates on how to build, protect and enhance reputation and trust in a digitalized world.
