Robert Fraga

Rob Fraga is a Senior Managing Director in the FTI Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment and is based in Boston. Rob has over 17 years of experience providing professional services to law firms and both public and private companies ranging in size from early stage to large multinational companies. He has extensive experience advising legal counsel, boards of directors and executive management regarding a wide range of accounting issues. Rob also has experience in many industries including high technology, manufacturing and services.

Prior to joining FTI, Rob was a managing director with another forensic and litigation consulting firm. Prior to that Rob was a senior manager in the assurance and business advisory practices of Arthur Andersen and Ernst and Young. For several years, he served as a member of the expert network in New England, within Arthur Andersen, responsible for consulting with engagement teams and Arthur Andersen’s Professional Standards Group in Chicago regarding complex accounting matters, such as revenue recognition, business combinations and compensation arrangements.

Throughout his career, Rob has significant experience advising legal counsel, executive management and boards of directors on a broad range of topics including the restatement of financial statements, SEC rules and regulations, revenue recognition, reserve accounting, stock option accounting, transaction due diligence, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.  In this capacity, Rob has led numerous engagements providing expert accounting advice to executive management and audit committees. In addition, he has led numerous investigations for publicly traded companies related to various accounting issues. In this capacity, he has presented findings to the SEC, the United States Department of Justice, the Ontario Securities Commission and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
